About CryingMeme

CryingMeme is a fan-made reference for one very specific corner of internet culture: the crying meme. We organize crying memes by character and mood, and we write short, sourced explainers about where each one came from.

What we do

• Galleries — crying memes grouped by subject (Crying Jordan, the crying cat, Will Byers, and more) and by mood (funny, sad, reaction).
• Origins — who is in the meme, where the image or clip is from, and how it spread.

Who runs it

A small independent team. We’re not affiliated with any studio, athlete, show or brand mentioned on the site.
